Here at Sofood! we love Autumn. In fact, we are so good and cosy-ing up and hibernating that we could be Danish. No-one does cosy like the Danes and they even have a special word to celebrate it, Hygge. Not easily translatable into English, but I like to think it comes from the word hug, Hygge can be anything from candles or firelight to bakeries, hot chocolate, warm socks and blankets or simply dinner with friends.
Hygge comes into its own as the nights draw in and the temperature drops, and it will be no surprise that our favourite way to Hygge is with food....
